Surrendering a Dog

Our foster space is limited and we are a no-kill organization, so unfortunately Measle's Animal Haven, Inc. is not able to accept every animal needing a home. Our organization's funds are earned through fundraisers, grants, donations, and adoption fees, and these funds are always very limited.

If you need to surrender a pit bull type dog (whether it is yours or a stray you have found), and we have space in a foster home to be able to accept the dog, he or she must pass a temperament test administered by a Measle's Animal Haven representative. If the dog does not pass the temperament test, we will not be able to accept the dog.

Please note that if Measle's Animal Haven is full (and note that we are almost ALWAYS full), we may be able to place the dog for adoption on our website and screen applicants if the dog is spayed/neutered and you can act as its foster home.
